But that was only half of the plan, the other half was to ask the officer tons of specific questions about him and the situation that day/night and pretty much have him not know or be wrong. And because of that say there is no way he can adequately recall the encounter and he was mistaken. Granted this is the same guy who ran a stop sign, went back two hours later, vandalized the stop sign with spray paint, took a picture and sent the picture in with his ticket and they dropped it.

I'd say put off the court date long as possible anyways, I mean 200$~ is roughly 6 lap dances and 6 beers.. Yea gonna give that to the court instead... Pshh

Lmao the vandalizing the stop sign had me cracking up. Im not sure what il do yet. Im thinking about fighting it and just hoping the cop wont show up.

Well, get some extensions for sure. If you want to hardcore it, friend the bastard on Facebook and find a court date he won't be able to make and you're golden. (ie funerals, vacation, his sons baseball game etc)

I'm 23 and a father, and if my parents would parents would pay my insurance that would be sweet. I'd get a 911 turbo, I can swing the payments but... 7000 a year insurance...

Next thing i know the cop that i knew was behind me turned his lights on and pulled me over. Supposedly there was a sign somewhere that said "No right turns on red lights". I told him i just got off work im a bit tired and i honestly just did not see any sign that said that, it was a mistake and it wont happen again. He did not care that it was a humanly mistake that did not affect anyone anywhere even though i knew he was behind me and i would obviously not do anything illegal on purpose knowing he is right there. Now i have to report this ticket to my work, i dont classify for traffic court since i got my first speeding ticket recently (I was in a hurry turning in some papers for my job). So now i have a smudge on my record, im going to have to pay a fine, my dad will have to pay more for insurance (And we are trying to buy a new house currently), i have to report this to my work or i could lose my job, all because i did not notice a pointless sign that in all reality has no business being there since the same exact right turns are allowed all over the place at any intersection but for some reason they decided to make it illegal in this certain intersection.
I just really really despise cops like that. I hate to say this but i literally have so much hate for this cop right now.
I know i made a mistake but it was an honest mistake that i am sure he has made himself. Its not like there are glowing arrows pointing at this sign and i chose to not read it. I literally just did not see the damn thing especially since i was tired from work and i just wanted to get home.

That was my first cop encounter where i felt totally raped. Most of the time they are completely fair and understanding. This guy just.... i dont even want to say it.
I understand your frustration, and sometimes it certainly does feel like the police and the traffic laws are simply tax collectors/generators.

On the other hand, in reading your post, I got the distinct impression that things are rarely your fault:

You made an illegal turn, but since you were tired and didn't see the sign, the cop is the bad guy...

Another time, you were in a hurry and so chose to speed, but again, seemed to justify that choice by saying you were rushing to get some papers submitted...

On top of that, you admit that you could pay for your own insurance, but have somehow coerced your father into doing so.

So ultimately, your problem isn't "cops like that"; your problem is you. You make poor choices, and when the consequences hit, you make excuses to justify your poor choices. You also choose to use your father.

I realize that my post is likely going to piss you off a bit, and that's natural. My intention wasn't to enrage you, however; my intention was to provide you with a different perspective.

Pay your fines, stop speeding, stop making excuses, and pay your own way. You're old enough.

1.When did i make it seem like the speeding ticket wasnt my fault??? I was simply stating the reason for my speeding.

2. I admitted that i made a mistake by making that right turn. But it was an honest mistake and i knew the cop was behind me. There are reasons to fine people but to fine them for not seeing a sign??? I completely think thats wrong. I dont pay taxes so cops can fine me and smudge my record because i didnt see a sign. Did i mess up??? Yeah obviously. But if i was the cop would i just let the person off with a warning?? yes 100% i would.
If you are the type of person that thinks someone should be fined and cited every time they make a honest mistake then i think that says alot about the type of person you are.

3. My dad pays my insurance on his own free will. I didnt coerce him.

You didnt upset me at all... well except maybe the dad comment. Mostly i just think you are way off basis.

And like i said. That sign has no reason to be there. So i cant just "Stop" doing these things because id like to. I didnt make that right turn because i wanted to break the law. I made it because i didnt know it was illegal and like i said there is no reason for it to be illegal.

The only one trolling is your unresponsible, disrespectful, freeloading arse. With that high dollar job you got you shouldn't still be milking your parents.

Whoa... wtf?

You angry cause my day pays my insurance??

Ok dude. Im not going to engage you in pointless insulting.

Im not irresponsible nor am i disrespectful or freeloading. You should be ashamed of yourself to insult someone in a personal manner that you have no clue about.
