1.When did i make it seem like the speeding ticket wasnt my fault??? I was simply stating the reason for my speeding.
No, you tried to justify your speeding by saying you were in a hurry.

2. I admitted that i made a mistake by making that right turn. But it was an honest mistake and i knew the cop was behind me. There are reasons to fine people but to fine them for not seeing a sign??? I completely think thats wrong. I dont pay taxes so cops can fine me and smudge my record because i didnt see a sign. Did i mess up??? Yeah obviously. But if i was the cop would i just let the person off with a warning?? yes 100% i would.
If you are the type of person that thinks someone should be fined and cited every time they make a honest mistake then i think that says alot about the type of person you are.
Everything after the bolded "but" in your post is irrelevant. You chose to drive while you were tired, and you missed the sign prohibiting the turn.
You made a poor choice, got busted, and you're kvetching about the consequences.

3. My dad pays my insurance on his own free will. I didnt coerce him.
A grown-up would tell his father how much he appreciates all he's done for him, then tell him he feels the need to pay his own way now.

And like i said. That sign has no reason to be there. So i cant just "Stop" doing these things because id like to. I didnt make that right turn because i wanted to break the law. I made it because i didnt know it was illegal and like i said there is no reason for it to be illegal.
Again, excuses. When you get behind the wheel, it is your responsibility to know the laws. Period. If you chose to drive while tired, and you miss a sign, that's all on you. Leave the cop out of it.

Ok dude. Im not going to engage you in pointless insulting.

Im not irresponsible nor am i disrespectful or freeloading. You should be ashamed of yourself to insult someone in a personal manner that you have no clue about.
Your day should pay for your insurance...work day that is. I'm not trying to be insulting either, not my intention.

You are irresponsible for not following traffic laws, you are disrespectful to yourself by admittedly letting your dad pay for your insurance that you don't mind getting the rates hiked on with your driving prowess, and you are freeloading for reasons posted before

The sense of entitlement is strong in younger people nowadays it seems

And i was in a hurry so i did speed. That does not mean i am saying the speeding ticket wasnt my fault.

Quit making assumptions. It makes an ass out of you.

I just got off work. Ofcourse im going to be tired. But you know what... i could have missed that sign on any day whether im tired or not. I didnt make a poor choice. A poor choice would have been seeing that sign and then making that turn.

Im catching the consequences for something that really isnt a big deal. It was an honest mistake and could happen to anyone on any given day.

Honestly... im writing this and im realizing there is no point. I bet you are the type of guy that thinks someone should be fined for crossing the street without using the cross walk.

Im curious.. how old are you???

Lol is that what a grown up would do??? And what makes you the expert on what a grown up would do?? You obviously dont know anything about my home situation and how you feel you have any type of right to comment on my personal situation is absolutely beyond me.

Everyone here needs to relax.

Bring it down a notch, discuss issues in a civil way or leave the thread.

Great. So pay the fine, and stop crabbing that your choice to speed has exacerbated the consequences of your other decisions.

Ugh. You chose to drive while tired. That's a poor choice.

Your right in that getting a fine isn't a big deal. Just pay it and move on like the rest of us slobs.

Old enough to be able to recognise what your problem is, at any rate.

Because I am one.

Why do you allow your father to pay your way?

Some advise (albeit unsolicited): stop using the internet to vent. It's not working out for you.

I didnt insult him so your "yah see" is pointless lmao. If anything im the one getting insulted. I just realize when he wouldnt answer my question about his age where his train of thought comes from. It comes from being a young kid that thinks everything is black and white. I used to say the same stuff he says except eventually i realized the world isnt so simple that you can avoid breaking the rules just because you want to.
