I don't really have anything against poachers. I mean, technically, fishing for fish that isn't in season is considered poaching, which is done by a very large number of people around the world. You can be charged with poaching for not having a permit, even though you are hunting the right animal during the right seasons with the right equipment.

I think poaching in general is no worse than normal hunting/fishing. However, in this case, the animal's entire species is very limited, and therefore caution should be taken when hunting them, unless of course it is absolutely required.

Also not to mention the Rhinos have their horns cut off for profit and nothing more, and are left to die. They generally bleed to death. I have a big problem with that, and really wish evil things on those involved.

Poaching animals for monetary gain is exactly what the World Banks and Higher ranking governments do. Except replace the word animals with humans.

Except humans get screwed financially, they don't get their body parts cut off and get left to die.

Yeah, any hunting should be as civil as possible (killing ASAP as to not torture them).

The killing of animals for money doesn't bother me much, to be honest. The fact is, the way we as humans have evolved/adapted is via money. It's the source of our food, our living, our homes and how we support our families. sad to say, but money IS survival in today's human society. Want to eat? Got money? No? Too bad, go hungry. Want to have medicine for that illness? Got money? No? Too bad, get sick and die. Just how our society is, it's how we have evolved socially.

The thing that bothers me on this is not the profits, it's that there are very few of them left. Only under rare circumstances should anyone kill an animal if there are only 60 or so of them left in the world. It's just messed up. It's nature, it happens, species die at the rate of about 100 per day, so it's not like it's anything unusual. I just feel if one can try to prevent it, one should, but again, we're just animals like any other, kill for what we deem needful.

Maybe not cut off, but blown off? Shot off? Yes. War dude. Everything you see before you is for financial gain. Wars included.

I know that man. I just have a beef with someone who is able to trap and saw off the body part of any human or animal, and leave it to die not giving a ****. Yes, I am obviously an animal-lover regardless of species, but it goes beyond that to me. I just find it sadistic.

I think conservation in general is a terrible waste of money. Species die and are replaced. In fact, the humans might actually be doing more harm than good by delaying evolution.
