Complete beginner: Heavy bag training

Here's just a little two minute clip of me hitting the bag. I'm about a week into MMA training (muay thai and BJJ) and I absolutely love it. Obviously my form, technique, and strength is way off, but I just thought I'd upload and get as much help as possible. I'm a southpaw, but my only problem is my right hand (jab hand) is much weaker/slower then my power dominant hand which would be my left hand. I also have no idea how to kick but I suppose that will come if I keep going to class. I wanted to train longer but all of my knuckles are cut up and hurt everytime I punch. Anything I can do to protect them? Maybe bandage and tape?

Sorry, bud...Looks like that video doesn't work.

I would never recommend hitting a heavy bag or anything without hand wraps and gloves of some kind.

The other poster is right, you should never work on the heavy bag without wrapping your hands, if you do not wrap them you will injure your hand/wrist eventually no doubt. Get some wraps and bag gloves…
The video is not available..
