Need a little help guys!
hi, i started practicing muay thai a few weeks ago and right now i had my fourth training session. Thing is im a little dissapointed with myself because i had a few sessions now but i still have problems processing some punches and combos. For example i can apply an uppercut the right way but im not doing fast enough and sometimes i simply make a mistake during the combo which i know that it can cost me greatly in a real match (if i'll ever take part in one). Thing is i really love this sport and want to become quite skilled in it but judging after how im presenting myself now i feel kinda demoralized! Here is a video with me practicing the combos on a boxing bag at my academy (note howerver that in this video was filmed during my second training session from last week and i think i may have improved a little since then):
Just tell me what your thoughts would be about this!
Thank you!

Dude. You'll look like crap for a while. It's a lot to take in. It took me a good 3-4months before I started doing things right and that's pretty much the standard for newbies at my gym too. Just keep practicing, and slow things down. Don't try to do too many things at once. It'll all come to you.

The first and most important thing for you to learn is patience! As the other posters already wrote, it will take months until the strikes of a beginner actually look like strikes. And that is in training, to have good strikes in an actual fight it will take even longer. Even experienced fighters are (or at least should be) constantly working on their basics.

As for your video, I only had a short glance on it. You are too convulsive, you drop your right when punching the jab, you are falling into your punch and your elbow is too high while doing the hook. Don't rush, do your techniques slowly, but correctly. It doesn't help if you're throwing your punches fast and hard in the beginning. On the crontrary, you are only establishing wrong techniques in your motor function.

Edit: And before thinking of combos, be sure to have proper single techniques.
