A word about WL2FU's banning...
 

*EDIT* i looked around and found LUV in an old thread, but it doesn't say "banned" under his name... is he or isn't he?

some of you might not know--or care--but WouldLuv2FightU was banned. He was banned for sticking up for America after some jerk-offs were bashing it. I checked out the thread in question, and he was in the right. Supposedly he got banned for using a curse... but he's no moron. he put in the asteriks himself, as a courtesy. then he got banned... for implying some "bad word" towards some ignorant idiots who didn't even get repremanded...

this doesn't seem like good conduct from the mod who did this. I'd love an explanation.

Wow, this is the first time that I heard about this. Seems kind of messed up if this is true. I would think that they wouldnt ban him for that if he used astericks.

It's stuff like this which makes me regret even paying for membership.

he did flip out a bit(over reacted alot actually, i really hope he apologizes), but i think a warning would have been alright since he is a good poster otherwise.

that's a huge part of it. the dude has been around forever... longer than me i think. he's a great contributor, and if anything, his reputation should have counted for something. after all, on ebay, doesn't rep count? i mean shouldn't he have gotten a simple warning, or some sort of PM from a mod or admin about it. i have to believe he deserved some amount of respect. it's not like he went on some racist tirade or something...

okay people no offence or anything but wl2fu's banning has been way over discussed.

is it really that big of a deal, he's not the only one getting banned for minor little things.

He got a warining for the above post that baz00ca mentioned. The bad/sad thing is that he's gotten warnings for other post as well. The way the warning system is set up, once you get 5 warining points then your banned temporarily from the site. Each warining has a different point value assigned to it, and no I will not tell you the point values, that is privaledge info(I think?). We as mods can look back at warnings, and I've done just that, I know who, when, where, and why he got those warnings. Some were definatly called for, if WL2FU didn't keep going off on people, he would most likely be a mod himself.

@Jawshattera - These are not minor little things. They are the forum rules which you and every other member agreed to when you registered.

the premium membership was a waste of 10 bucks lol.. i basically paid for no ads..

but why would he have been banned.. he is a active member of this forum and a good person to discuss MMA with.. he is very knowledged and he himself usually try's to keep the bullshit out of threads....

i would understand if he was a new member but so what 1 out of his 2,000 posts was innapropriate.. give him some slack
