An idea... a good idea!!!
Let me run this idea past you.
I know that we do reviews and discussion on PPV's and on UFN's and other things, of course this is a forum.
But what if we had an official news section?
(sherdog, mmaweekly, etc...)
I think it could really help launch this site a lot further, maybe even get you admins (if you dont already) some press passes to events so you could interview people.
Just a thought, I mean so many of us on here go to those two other sites, or even other sites for our news and then come here to talk about it. So why not?

Oh oh, and you could "hire" some posters on here that you think are worth it and have some skills to write articles and post press releases. I think it would really kickass, plus I would love to cover UFC events and not have Joe Rogan style nuthugging comments about fighters I am friends with.

It would kind of be nice, and then I really wouldn't have to check other sites to come here and talk about news.
Getting some sort of system going to get a top 10 mma rankings would be nice too!

that sherdog comment makes no sense, so let's ignore it!
news would be great, but to be able to post credible news (which, by the way, sherdog doesn't have; it's all posted links from other sites...moron), you need to have people talking to those who can provide reliable info. for instance, how does MMAweekly do this? It's something i've always wondered.
as for writers, i'll tell you right now, if i was anywhere near MMA events, i'd do everything in my power to become a writer for MMA on this site, and professionally if possible!
it'd be my dream job, combinging my love of writing and my intense interest in MMA!
hint hint hint...
