What do you think about this rule?

Funny thing is I've never read this forum's rules so there could already be one similar. Anyway, I got this off dsmtalk.com, another forum I frequently lurk. At first I thought this was a real pain in the ass when it came to posting, but it didn't take long for me to really start appreciating it.
Now, it's the only DSM forum I visit because of this rule. This site is not bad at all compared to most, but when someone writes one long sentence with no capitals, I usually hit the "back" button. |

Not a bad idea, but tbh I haven't seen lots of bad grammar, and I think a few mistakes are forgivable. After all, there are lots of international members who don't use english constantly.

This is important to remember, for some users English is there second if not third language. Besides we are here to talk MMA and I can get over the odd spelling or grammar mistake, If I had to go around infracting people for Grammar mistakes I think the majority of the staff would have to give up posting.

I don't believe it should be a written rule, but I believe it does show a little bit more credibility when you take some time in your response.

Um...Heck no. I seriously would be banned with in the first day of posting after this rule was put in place. It's the internet, I come on here to relax and talk about mma while shooting the shit with friends, not be stressed out about my grammar and spelling.

This. Now the stupid abbreviated speak that some people tend to use can get annoying...I can hardly read some of that drivel.  eheh
