Hello. I hope I am posting this in proper area. I have tried to PM a Moderator about these problems but I get a notification saying I do not have permission to do this.

fullonshred, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Additionally, I browse with Opera 10, but I am getting lockups using that browser here. Is this a known problem?

Usually you see the above message when clicking on a thread that has been deleted but also for a variety of other reasons. As for not being able to PM a mod, cannot PM someone until you hit a certain post count. This is to combat ad spam though PMs.

As for lock ups with a browser thats news to me but we have had a few server issues today so that may be the cause.

If you are having server issues today then you are in the same boat as I was earlier. i was just now able to log on.

Yeah I get that message whenever I click my own username to see my profile ... been happening for about 4-5 days now.

It will all be passed around. We have migrated to new servers recently and some bugs may not be ironed out yet as some staff where having problems accessing some features until recently as well.

Additionally, I can't seem to get the Email Notification of new Posts turned off. I went into my user CP under "Edit Options" and selected "No Email Notification"
and clicked "Save Changes", but I am still getting the unwanted Email Notifications.

You need to access all your current subscriptions, and "Unsubscribe".
