As Hit said, it was merged into the official fight thread most likely. If you want to poll/discuss a fight in a new thread, it's best to wait a while after the event and everything has calmed down, otherwise it'll be merged, becuase the offical thread is to discuss all things related to Machida vs. Rampage, that includes who you think won.

Poll get lost when you merge a thread.

someones trying to pick a fight. im just trying to make a point. it didnt take 3 or 4 ppl to reiterate what one mod already said. a lot of the people replying to this are ignoring the actual question.

i had walked away from this but il make it clear one time.

1) a poll about the disputed outcome of a fight which fits into a larger question about judging standards is not the same thing as a post fight discussion.

2) a poll can not be made without a discussion included.

3) waiting until it has all died down kinda defeats the object of a poll.

4) saying it is ''our'' forum and then having some guy following up with ''is this guy trying to pick a fight'' when he hasnt even read the intitial post is ridiculous.
some of the replies illustrate their own ignorance to the situation in the first place although mostly not the mod ones.

5) its one thing to have the power to do something, it is another to then act as if that power makes it right.

i do not think they should have just deleted a poll a 100 odd people took part in without even recording the results.

thats my opinion. i didnt swear at people or harass them. i just made the point and moved on.

i do not think it is smart to have a situation where the one thing everyone is talking about is not pollable on here.

i do not think the double standard that allows many examples of the rule that is being quoted to me to be broken, whilst i get deleted is fair.

theres a dozen threads discussing the ufc123 fights that havent been moved or censored in any way.

i do like the website.

i do like the mods as far as it goes as for the most part people have been civil and i feel if anything i should have just contacted one of them first.

i dont like it when ppl alter the words i wrote by my name or judge them without reading them.

that is all.

now these are personal opinions. they are not challenges to the power structure or an uppity newbie giving it large.

they are just opinions. and whilst i stand by them, i recognise ultimately the rules are the rules and i dont have any power to change them.

you have a feed back forum so i took advice and came here, but really if you look at people who respectfully disagree with you as spoiling for a fight then the octagon is the best place for you as you may find real life to be much more unforgiving.

people framing this as a confrontation are the ones who are baiting. you have a website which allows me to make my point and i did that. any one of these mods could delete me for fun and i know that. but with all due respect feedback aint trolling. its a feedback forum.

i want to thank everyone for their replies and hopefully we can leave it there.

if ive upset the mods or they wish me to leave the site then fair enough.

they only have to ask.

if not, then as ive already made my point and i obviously cant change this situation, i might as well say have a pleasant evening and done.

No you put words into my mouth. I dont see why it is so hard for you to get. It was broken down to you a couple times and all you really did was hold your breath and stomp the floor. You are not the first person to get a thread merged. And all that jazz about power?????? And rules not being upheld for different people is garbage. You tell meto read before posting I did. Because unlike you I have been here a while and I know the rules. Now I am glad you are liking the forum but get over getting a single thread merged its not like they deleted everything. Now if you had a out of left field topic they would have let it slide but it was just ....who won

do you really need for me to back up my words with example after example of other threads where they are discussing the fights.

as for the power comments, this is the feedback forum and you are resentful of my right to even use it.

as for the crass characterisations, how are they not illustrating your ignorance.

the mods are good enough to reply with civility and i disagree with them but i made my point without needing to play flame games.

meanwhile you are going on like its a battle rap.

At the end of the day, the thread was merged by a mod because it was discussing Machida vs. Rampage, and that discussion, poll or no poll, goes into the "official" Rampage vs. Machida thread.

Different threads/different situations/different whatever results in one thread not being merged, but another being merged. All things are taken into consideration before being done on the forum. Threads are merged all the time for different reasons, that's just how it goes, it's nothing personal.

The question has been answered and addressed, so I'm going to close this thread before it goes more off balance.
