ok, i'm not just *****ing because i base my life's worth on my rep score... but every bit of neg rep i've gotten is for bullshit! some jerk who just doesn't agree with what i've said, and wants to be a **** about it. that's fine... but i think the admins or whomever controls this site needs to make it so rep automatically includes the giver's name... cause nobody has the balls to neg rep for nothing and put their name on it... cause they don't want neg rep retrobution!!!

please... PLEASE fix this!!!

i think that if you wanna give out neg rep your name should be attatched to it. if its for a worthwhile reason then neg rep is cool, but most of the time you get it for stating a logical opinion.

that's my point. if you do something as in flaming or other sorts of character attacks and ignorance, fine... but not for a difference of opinion. and no matter what, the name should always be attached, that's just common sense to me!

yeah but the only problem is, when you attach the name to it, you're gonna get neg repped back, no matter whether you deserve it or not. so its not an easy fix...

ITs probably a good idea to get rid of the negative rep. Good Reps make sense. People aren't going to go around just handing them out for no reason,but negatives can be given by idiots.

exactly, give rep when it is deserved, but forget neg rep... it's obviously an abusive privelage and only serves to give idiots something to pat themselves on the back about!

Yeah, I have never neg repped anyone, if I have a big enough problem with something said to actually respond with negative feedback on the thread so everyone can see. I take that back, I may have neg repped an extremely racist comment once but I also added to the thread that it was bullshit.

Unless it serves a purpose, please lets get rid of it.
