Greatest joke/era/rant/fad/epidemic on MMAF?
 

Recently we were reminded of the rotten rob emmerson. Joke or prophecy it's impact on MMAF is undeniable. Be an active member since 2006 (an old timer) I have seen many of these great jokes or epidemics come and go.

I would like to get a list of some of our favorites the create a poll to vote on which was greatest.

So from rotten rob to Charlie Z post your favorite epidemics to hit MMAF.

Never hear of 'Rotten Rob' or 'Charlie Z' so this could be iteresting for me to hear :) hope some interesting stuff I never knew about turns up.

Hard to top "St. LegKicker".

The king Rob Emerson (AKA St.Leg Kicker) is and forever will be the top.

Not exactly of the same thread as Charlie Z or St. LegKicker, but "The Machida Era" was a fad that came and went pretty quickly on here (and pretty much everywhere else in the mma community).

As usual I'm late coming to the thread but I'm going anyway.

Not that I have anything new to say, it is without question the Rob Emerson "push".

I remember being relatively new around here when that was going on. At the time, I was not a gold member and I finally emailed someone to literally ask "what is it about Rob Emerson that you guys know and I don't?!?"... it was then explained to me. I never really joined in but I do remember post stating BJ would only carry the 155 title until Rob got his shot. It was beautiful troll bait to say the least.

Anyone know who's idea that was, or how it started?

Well I for one miss CharlieZ - he was pure gold :)

I have NEVER understood the Rob Emerson stuff. What's with the St. Leg Kicker and him being able to beat anybody he wants etc?

Charlie Z was the ultimate entertainment for me, you just came to the forum to see what this guy was up to. Before he turned crazier than he is now that is.
