The MMA Trivia thread!
Alright, I got a lil bit of vbookie points, so I say I can award small amounts (like 50k) for each answer, however, a more interesting idea I had was to do a point system where the winner would win 1 million credits(woo! >_>) first to 20 wins.
The points I think will be done based on their relative difficulty with reference to obscurity, age, and that sort of thing....from 1 point all the way up to a whopping 5. I'll start off easy so not to alienate the users before it even gets off its feet. For the tougher ones I'll occasionally drop hints. Question 1: (1 point) This Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran gave another the first submission loss of his career with a signature shoulder lock that has since been named after himself. Who is he? |
jason von flue

i have never heard of it as a Mir lock.... its a shoulder crank that Mir landed
if your gonna have a trivia thread... atleast be correct... Jason Von Flue landed a modified side/triangle choke that no one ever seen before, and is now called a Von Flue Choke. no one calls it a Mir Lock... its a shoulder crank... just made more famous by Mir. |
Genki Sudo, opponent is Craig Oxley
