As some of you may already know, i've got some interviews lined up with high level pro MMA fighters, namely JJ Ambrose and Anthony Leone for the time being.

I was wondering whether you guys could help me with some questions, i've got a few so far:

How old were you when you began MMA?

Do you have a favourite fighter?

What is your stance on PEDS and TRT?

Do fighters ever throw fights?

What are the best and worst things about being a high level pro MMA fighter?

I think with some of the questions, depending on their answers you should ask follow up questions. you'll probably have to make them up on the fly though.


P.S, I suggest recording the interview and than transcribing it/editing it after, rather than sitting writing down everything as they say it.

Yeah i've gotta figure out a way to do that. I asked Anthony and he said he'd rather do it in person, so i'll have to record so as not to waste his time.

Haha I don't have one, it's cool, one of the girls who's here is going to lend me hers. This is exciting! I'm gonna take some photos of them against a white wall so someone can do a bit of editing on a picture for us. I'd do it but shitty resources over here.

If you can shoot the picture in RAW and get it to me I can have a play around. But chances are if you know someone who can lend you a camera with RAW ability they'll be able to shoot the picture and process it anyways.

I don't think the 'do fighters ever throw fights' question is a good one. Sounds kinda disrespectful imo.

'Coming off of two split decisions, do you feel the need or pressure to win your next fight in a more convincing manner?'

Not sure if that's a smart question, but I want to know how fighters do feel when they're in that kinda situation. Obviously for Leone.
