The shooter was a 23 year old STUDENT from South Korea, Senior majoring in English. His name was Cho Seung-hui. He also lived on campus in a university dorm. First person he killed was his RA, which really hits home for me, I am the RA of the building that I live in....

So his arm had something written on it. His arm had the words "Ismail Ax" written on it. Can anyone take a guess at what that is referring to?
Kodanshi, I think you will be able to shed some light on this.
However, I would like to know why a South Korean has that written on his arm.

No offense to you cabby, but that site is a joke. How could they not figure out what it means? I knew what it meant last night when I first heard it on the radio. They're acting like it means nothing.
Ismail = Son/Prophet of Abraham in Islamic teachings
Ax = One of the things Abraham used when he was trying to convert a town of people
2+2=4
Why he had it on there, I have no idea. That's what I'm trying to figure out.
It could be a metaphor. Maybe he was saying HE was Ismail's Ax?
