Does getting blood taken hurt?
 

Alright guys and thx in advance I was wondering if having blood drawn hurts. I have my first amature kickboxing match in 2 months and I might have 2 get blood drawn but im not positive and its getting me nervous.

It dosent hurt. It may feel a little funny though when blood is being pulled out. It dosnt hurt though.

you've never had a blood test? go to the doctor man...

and besides... you're getting ready for a kickboxing fight and you're afraid of getting blood drawn? i'll never understand people's fear of "the needle"... lol

when it first goes in its like..i dunno a quick pinch...after that its smooth sailing. if you are squimish look away and its easy to get through

Dude, youre going into an mma fight and youre worried about blood test??? Well, they dont hurt at all, you getting punched in the face will hurt alot more then a little needle. You can get a cream at youre local pharmasist that you rub on 1hour before the needle shot and it numbs the skin thier and you can feel a thing.

I give blood all the time. It feels awesome.

they'll usually tell you "just a pinch" and it's accurate, that's all it is. DEFINITELY look away if yr. grossed out like someone else said. I hate needles and IVs and so forth, but as long as I look away it's OK and no big deal.

Its not bad at all. Little bee sting for a sec and its over. lol I would be more focused on your fight.

Do you guys get money for your blood?
