as for your last few sentences...have you not seen the first 2 fights? Chuch got dominated both times. what exactly did you see that would make you want to put money on chuck? thats just foolish. I would never put money on Rampage if he fights Wandy again, i saw the first 2 fights and Page showed me nothing to warrant betting on him.

I've been a fan of Rampage since the first time i ever saw him. it was in his very first PRIDE fight... i remember getting that DVD, watching his pre-fight interview and saying; ****, i love PRIDE already!

I've never really been a fan of chuck. Althought the first fight I saw had him in it. At UFC 37.5 vs. Vitor Belfort. I've been a Rampage fan since his fight with Igor Vovchanchyn in 2002. I don't jump a fighters bandwagon. I'm a loyal fan as you can see by my sig. Even though Cro Cop and St. Pierre lost they are still my fav fighters and have my support. The only bandwagon i technically jumped on was Sokoudjou and that's becuase before he KO'd Lil Nog, i never new who he was.

Yea, Chuck lost. First off, it wasn't an all out ass whooping. That fight didn't prove Jackson was a better fighter, he won. It was a 1 hit win. He didn't dominate Chuck the whole fight, or anything. Don't get me wrong, Rampage is hilarious, I like the guy. Chuck is my favorite fighter though, so it makes it difficult to like Rampage. But the bandwagon fans are pissing me off. The people who said "CHUCK IS GONNA WHOOP HIS ASS" before hand, then afterwards are like "DUDE, RAMPAGE KILLED HIM, I KNEW IT. HE BEAT HIM TWICE, CHUCK SUCKS SO BADLY, HE HAS A GLASS JAW, ANYONE COULD KICK HIS ASS."
Uh, Chuck is still a top head in the Light Heavyweight division. Just because 1 person beats Chuck doesn't mean he sucks, it means he slipped up, got caught with a well places hook to the jaw, and couldn't recover in time. The fight wasn't called too early, I know that. But I'm still not convinced that Rampage is the better fighter. The first fight, yea, Rampage whooped Chuck's ass. Then again, it was in a Pride ring, which is different than an Octagon, and that was a different point in Chuck's fighting career. I'd love to see a rematch. I'd place money on Chuck if it were to happen.

Meh, this stuff don't bother me.
I knew this fight was goin either way.
Everyone has a fan favourite so just respect that.

Why is this thread in the lounge, this is a UFC related topic should go in the UFC forum.
Chuck Lost, get over it. Fans that jump from bandwagon to bandwagon are'nt real fans anyway. They root for whoever is the champ because that's the easy thing to do.
My fav fighters are Nick Diaz and Karo, not cause I think they are the best but because they are always in exciting fights, and they give 100% everytime. that means more to me than wins and losses.

it's related to the UFC but more about fans of the UFC particularly Bandwagon Jumpers. So I think it's fine here

really does'nt matter, Lounge is more for non-MMA related topics and this is an MMA related topic, even though it's about the fans. general MMA discussion is the rightful home.
I just thought it was funny because it's usually the opposite, someone puts a non MMA related thread in the UFC or General section.

The first fight was a beatdown. But there again, that's a completely different time in Chuck's career. I'm still more impressed from what I've seen of Chuck compared to Rampage. That's just me, though.
I've noticed stuff like this happening a lot lately, with the recent upsets. Who the **** is a Matt Serra fan? Pffft, it's just cause he's champ. Once again, I think GSP is the better fighter. And I think this is DEFINITELY true. If they were to fight again, I'd be VERY confident in GSP.
It's not just a Rampage thing, but in general. Couture has bandwagon fans too. The dude retired, and all the sudden he comes back, no one knows who he is and all the sudden he's their favorite fighter? Please.

i feel like every fight is like going off the high dive for each fighter, you can prepare as well as you can, but you never know what it'll be like on the way down or when you hit the water. no way to predict what'll come at you, esp. if each fighter knows the other has been watching old fight tapes or whatever
