Where do you people think I should apply to college? I have a 3.6 GPA with a 1980 SAT score and plenty of volunteer work and extracurriculars. I have to start applications pretty soon and I have like 4 in mind, but I'd like to apply to more.

The four I have in mind are UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, Loyola Marymount University, and University of San Diego. I'm not too good at researching colleges, any ideas?

Academicly Speaking I have know Idea?

But as far as a cool place with Hot Chics, Santa Barbara would be my chioce. Don't take my oppinion too seriously on this question because I am an East Coast guy that's only been to the other coast a few times. I really liked SB though.

Yeah my dad went to UCSB and he said there's nothing but hot chicks everywhere. To be honest I'd like to go somewhere where I can still train BJJ at a good school. Academics aren't as important to me as student life.

When did they changed the scoring from 1600 to 2400 for a perfect score on the SAT?

Any bigger school will have a lot of hot women. It's just the law of averages.

You should also factor in how far you want to be from home. Being further away grows you up faster imo. I went to a big 10 school 550 miles away from my hometown and i think it helped me group better than if I had been taking my laundry home every weekend.

1 or 2 years ago I think. No more than 3 years.

I already do my own laundry anyway, so I don't think that will make a difference. I don't mind being far from home, but I live in California, and as far as I'm concerned, that's that best State in the country, so why would I leave?

Then go to the school in the town with the training facilities you like the best.
No fair going home for all yr. doctor, dentist appts. either, you have to arrange all that at school if you want to be an adult.

also look at cost of living if you decide to live off campus, santa barbara is among the priciest places to live on the west coast, if not the country
