Well today is my one year anniversary with MMAForum and I can't even begin to thank everyone enough for all of the knowledge that I've gained in the last year.

I got on this site because I have a strong enjoyment in MMA, scratch that, in UFC. After reading all of the posts that I have and being introduced to fighters that I would have never known about, all I can say is thank you!

This has been, without a doubt, the most information saturated year I can think of. Some great, some sad. But there have been many things that I can look back on.

It made me take a few minutes and realize where my MMA knowledge would have been without this Forum.

Thank you all again and I'll be looking forward to the 2nd anniversary!!!

I was like you, I came into this website as basically a UFC fan and garnered a ton of information. I'd always been into martial arts but the UFC seems like it was all there was. Not to mention just the people are so cool here and friendly. Even the forums trolls are above average =P

It really was like opening your eyes and finding out there there was so much more then you thought.

I agree completely about the people that post here, they are very friendly and 99% of them can carry on a interesting conversation.

And yes, I do kind of like the trolls here! lol

My 1 year is coming up at the end of the month, this is the 1st message board that I actively posted on. i belong to a few others of varying topics, everything from fishing to investments to MMA, this by far has the best members, best staff and is the most enjoyable.

Thats one of the reasons that I really like this board, people generally don't take much stock in post counts.

Damone has almost 6,000 posts and it's safe to say that they are all of high quality. Now you take a guy from Sherdog with that amount of posts and 75% of them are garbage.
