I have noticed a pretty good conversation/ debate piece arising in other threads. I wanna hear what you think about where you live and the opposite area. Tell me about your neighbors and the city in general and if you prefer the city or country.

I prefer the country because of the slower living and quiet times. Just seems you can do so much more in the country. Fireworks, Guns and a really loud party are hard to get away with in the city, Plus I love camping and hiking. I live in the city and around a pretty heavy populated area. Aslong as I had my friends and I wasnt alone in the middle of no were going crazy I could do it. I like taking the occasional trip to brighton or howell and chill up in that back country. People up there seem to be more of my type of person, Down to earth people.

I like both about the same. I live on a road that is kinda in the country with quite a bit of land but u can be in the city in about 5 minutes. Its a great place for a party. But i think i prefer the city more.

I've lived in both the country and the city and prefer the city way more. Sure, in the country you can get away with much more but only because if you couldn't you'd blow your brains out from being so bored. They both have their ups and downs but there is way more to do in the city. I went to school in the country for a year and never have met so many two-faced jesus freaks in my entire life I hated it.

All the while us suburb folks get no flak and enjoy the best of both worlds.

On a serious note... I'd pick the city as long as it is not L.A.

My kind wouldnt survive in the country, actually physically we'd be pretty well suited for it.

The people around me are more worried about what the next person is wearing, saying, or has on their Ipod then life itself. Such a stupid area. People think being a degenerate thug or punk is a good thing

If I could really chose I'd go to UAE and buy me one of those World Islands

I like both equally for different reasons, but I would prefer a smaller city, nothing gigantic like L.A.

yeah same here, i agree, citys way better
