16-Year-Old Hires Hitman To Kill Parents
Quote:
Boy hires hitman to kill parents after grounding denies PlayStation, TV
We've certainly gotten cranky after being denied some quality gaming time, but 16-year-old Cory Ryder took it to the next level by attempting to hire a hitman to kill his parents after they took away his PlayStation and denied him television. Seems young Cory had been making threats around the house, so his mom hired a cop to pose as a hitter -- and Cory took the bait, offering up his dad's truck as payment. After a couple rounds of "negotiations," the officer revealed himself and arrested Cory for attempted murder, for which he's now awaiting trial. Of course, you'd think that having a hitman conveniently show up after you'd been threatening to kill your parents might set off an alarm or two, but Cory's apparently not the brightest bulb around -- his PlayStation was confiscated due to failing grades.

Boy: Gosh I'd really love for my parents to die!
Cop: Hey buddy, need a hitman?
Boy: Oh wow! It's my lucky day!
What a freakin' dumbass

C'mon everyone knows you watch and play secretly before you resort to murder.
... unless they hide it really good.
Ya know what's funny though, it's probably the parent's fault the kid's like that. His priorites are a little f*cked up no?

Wow its so funny how the parents so briskly set up their kid for attempted murder.
I say you throw that kid in a cell and give him his PS2 and see if he lasts

Good ones really, if the kid was serious about it, he should be in jail.

Please say you arre joking.
First there is the fact that they let it get to this stage, that sums it up right there. Secondly, when they thought their kid was dangerous, they went to the cops instead of seeking medical help, so now he will probably go to jail for a while, attempted murder is pretty serious. The guy is 16, his life is over.

Sounds more like the result of massive spoiling. A previously disciplined kid probably wouldn't have responded so dramatically to his punishment if he had a good grasp of reality and solid morals instilled in him. If all he's ever known was getting what he wanted, and he he has something taken away from him, he will act a fool.
If the parents knew anything about laying down discipline beforehand, they probably wouldn't have resorted to sending him to prison right? But sometimes it's too late to fix wut you've screwed up.
The whole family looks like morons.
