I am going to say right off the bat that I never watched the old ECW! I was more into the WWF back then (WWE if you want to get techinical). From what I heard, ECW was real badass back in the day! The first time I watched ECW was after One Night Stand! From that time to the present, I can honestly say that I wasn't impressed! I just expected more but instead it reminded me why I got tired of pro wrestling! Thats my opinion! What is yours?

No, its not the same thing it was from 1992-2001. Its pretty lame now, WWE has just made it into one of their shows like Raw and Smackdown except make them rivals with WWE. Its more acting then bad ass wrestling, heck the refs give out DQs when you use weapons. I'm glad I don't watch it. WWE owns it and TNA may even be better than it.

this is vicne's brand of ECW... nothing, in any way shape or form like old ECW. if you didn't watch it then, i'm pretty sure you're not into indy wrestling, and all you know is the WWE. honestly, if you don't know, you'll never understand.

The old ECW was awesome. Heyman would let his wrestlers do what they want, storylines, moves, and rivals were all done by wrestlers. The new ECW is crap. I still remember when Shane Douglas beat 2 Cold Scorpio and when they gave him the NWA title, he threw it down and declared himself the ECW champion. No one saw that coming.
