I remember when I first saw the movie Poltergeist! There was this one scene in there that really was disturbing to me. You remember the part where this guy went into the bathroom just to splash water on his face and all of a sudden this intense light came out of nowhere. This light did something to him because he started ripping the skin off his face in small chunks. Then the small chunks got bigger and bigger and pretty soon he ripped his whole face off! Then just like that everything was back to normal like he never ripped his face off in the first place! There were many scary moments in the movie but that scene stuck in my mind! What did all of you guys think of this movie?

It was a scary film for its time, for a Stephen Speilberg film, good special effects for a horror, unlike some. I still think Silence Of The Lambs is the scariest, so sick when you see Hannibal Lector biting at that guards face and pepper spraying him. Then it graphically shows him beating the other guard with a club, just sick and scary. Plus it wasn't funny when Bill is like "rub the lotion on the skin or else she gets the hose again" I don't know why people joke around about it, just disturbing how he sews their skin.

I really dont think Silence of the Lambs is scary. I saw Poltergiest when was really young and I was really scared. But I havent seen it since, and I dont even remember what it was about so maybe it wouldnt be scary to me anymore.

LOL, When I saw this i was 11 or 12? My mum was saying how it was really scary and how it's one of the scariest movies of all time. I thought it was just stupid. But I was 11 (or 12) and I was stupid. I should watch it again. I think my brother has it.

I didn't find Silence of the Lambs scary but I did really like it.
