the whole weed debate was in some other thread... possibly the political one... but i just saw my favorite anti-weed commercial and i had to bytch about it. its the one where the dude wakes up, picks up his phone and he's having a "conversation" with his "friend" about; "oh man, that's not me, you know that... did she get home alright?" basically, its implying that someone on weed would **** somenone. that weed "changes" you so much that you'd actually **** someone...

i can't believe this garbage... i don't even know where to start. and those of you who've never smoked weed... you honestly have no idea what id does... and let me tell you, its not making you wanna get up and **** anyone...

Ha, what a load of shit. I hope my region doesnt air that crap. Have you ever seen the one where theyre all smoked out in their car going through a fast food via drive thru and a little 6 year old girl is riding her bike. They pull out of the drive thru real fast and hits the girl. Now, I understand pot can affect your driving skills, but what I didn't understand is that they make it seem like it's ok and normal for a little 6 year old girl unaccompanied by anyone to be riding her bike down a busy street. Another good one is one where 2 kids are smokin in their dads office in the house, when one kid opens the drawer, finds a hand gun and says "whoa sweet what's this?" BANG! Screen goes black, the commercial implies that the kid shot his friend because he was high. First of all, guns shouldn't be accessible to ANYONE in the house except adults, and second, if you are old enough to smoke weed then your old enough to know that when you pull the trigger of a loaded handgun while your pointing it at your friend, something bad is going to happen. These people make it seem like weed is like LSD where you trip and can't rationalize. ANYONE and I mean anyone who has smoked pot knows that these situations are rare and have more to do with bad parenting than anything else, and both situations could happen just as easily to someone who wasn't high at all.

and you're right... like everyone who'se ever raped someone is high? sorry, not even close to a rational argument... so insane. back in college, when we all had our parents money to blow... we used to smoke whenever one of those commercials came on... not like we didn't constantly anyway... but those commercials are a joke.

lol... yeah, weed makes me wanna get off my couch, go out, find a lone dumb, drunk chick, struggle with her, get her in my car, take her home, drag her into my appartment, hold her down, **** her, then either dumb her somewhere which would require dragging her to my car again and driving around looking for a place to dumb her to the curb, or i'll have to kill her... dumb her somewhere, then come home and clean the mess and live paranoid that i'll get caught... yeah... sounds like a potheads idea of a good time...

You know, I heard that commercial the other day (listening to the tube) and I didn't even realize they were talking about weed. Oh pleeese, what a load of crap.

I was just telling my fellow stoner friend the other day how this is the dumbest commercial ever. First off weed doesnt even put you in the mood for ***** if anything it takes you out of it. So I guarantee no one will **** someone because of they're baked. Secondly why the hell is alcohol legal and not dope? IMO alcohol makes you alot more out of control than pot. If you smoke a shit load of pot the wost thing thatll happen is youll get tired. Alcohols the thing that might make you **** someone or wreck yor car. I think its alot easier to drive high than drunk. I rarely drink and drive only if I absolutly have to. But smoking and driving I have no problem with at all. Dont get me wrong I love alcohol but I just think its ridiculous how it can be legal and not weed. And the hand gun thing. Give me a break. Marijuana doesnt **** you up to the point where you dont know what the hell a gun is. Its just ridiculous. I could go on all day.
