Sounds like you guys scared him more than he scared you.
Lets turn this into the freakin scary story threaD already.
It's an old colonial house turned into an apartment on a deadend st. It's oldschool, but nice, my apartment is the part of the house that used to be the attic and I've been here more than a few months.
On four different occasions someone's yelled in my left ear. Twice while I was awake and and ploppin down into bed, once while I was half asleep, and the last one was when I was asleep. I've written down everything it could've been, (heaters, neigbors, plumbing) and it's logically impossible to replicate the noise from something around me.
This is what it's like, it doesn't have a distance (not from 3 ft away or another room or sum shit), it's directly inside my left ear and it's about 1 second everytime. It's a medium pitched muffled (like someones trying to yell with their lips closed but mad clear and loud) round noise, as if someone gets kicked in the stomache, it sounds human (no animal, not a clank from a machine or anything like that could be outside). It's actually dead silent outside and inside because of the neighborhood. When I hear it I can't feel feel my body for about 5 seconds, I can't feel scared at all as much as I know I should be and want to be, I feel paralyzed but totally awake and it freaks me out more talking about it than during it actually happening. Once the sound happens I regain everything in about 5 seconds (I can move, I can situp) but I always fall a sleep seconds later like nothing happened (this part pisses me off, even the two times I heard the noise when I was wide awake I remember forcing myself to go to bed because I wasn't tired yet but I had work in the morning, I do this often so i can get away from the tv and I usually lay there for an hour).
Like I said before, the last time it happened I was asleep. I opened my eyes to the noise again and I lied there paralyzed but as soon as I recovered I wanted to feel anxious as hell because this time it formed an actual word! I fell asleep seconds later and when I woke up I couldn't remember it, it's still driving me nuts. It was two syllables. There's been few weird thing happening recently, another easy one to tell is that my lights dim and brighten up atleast once a day that usually last about 5 seconds too.
Hope this starts up some solid stories.
