Tequila?
So I bought some Tequila for my birthday on saturday but I normally never drink it except for a few times at the bar and in mexico. I don't mind doing shots with it but I can't remember for the life of me if you are suppose to refrigerate tequila or not. So am I suppose to or what?
Also if anyone does happen to have any good drink mixes involving tequila please post.

Cheapo tequila won't even go down warm. Chill and add to orange juice. Pricey tequila is fine room temp, i tried a few in the $40-60 range and like Patron Anejo best, shots are best. Anything over $100 is sipping tequila, but im not into sipping at all, i had Gran Patron $200, but i just did shots..loved it.
Great now im gonna have to grab limes on the way home

I'm willing to wager that I can down it warm! But yeah I figured you'd need to chill it. I think mine was 20 dollars for a micky... probably a cheapo kind lol.
Thanks for the info. Also my apologizes for making you buy limes lol.

It's only a small bottle. Can't be that bad lol. I'll sample it tonight and let you know but I have a tendency to drink whatever. I have a strong resistance lol. The brand is Sauza Blanco which is wildly available and the reviews seem decent enough. Of course Tequila fanatics wouldn't touch it for anything though lol.

Drink it like they do in Mexico. Sprinkle some salt on the back of your hand, lick it off, take the shot and then bite a lime or lemon. Also I would chill it a little. Tequila is kind of hard to down especially cheap tequila.

lol... In mexico drinking it with lime and salt is called training wheels.
I just had some, I can down it no problem, 4 shots one after the other for something to do, I have to save the rest lol.

I don't really drink it, only a few times and when I did I thought that's how you were supposed to drink it. I think it was supposed to bring the taste out or something. I don't really know though since I usually just drink rum or vodka but I do know it goes down hard for me.

Yeah I've only had it like that as well though except for tonight where I just downed it. The salt is supposely suppose to take away the burn and the lime brings out and adds some more flavour.
By all means it still tastes like crap and I can see why you find it hard to down.
