Granted she shouldn't have resisted, but that cop was too rough on her, slamming her face first into the car, punching her and then pepperspraying her face was a bit extreme. That girl was 15 years old and looked like she wieghed 80 lbs soaking wet. He could have easily slapped the cuffs on her without having to resort to brutality, he outwieghed her by at least 100 lbs. That was completely unecessary and he should have his badge and gun taken from him. Either he was too weak to subdue a 15 year old girl or he is a crooked cop. Either way, he should lose his job.

The girl resisted arrest for like almost 2 minutes. And people say the cop was to rough? After not complying immediately the officer is supposed to take you to the ground put a knee on you and use his body weight while getting your hands cuffed.

He could have been way harder on the girl without being outside the guidelines.


If I was in that girls place I would be eating out of a straw for months or dead.

That's what he should have done, the girl wasn't posing a threat to him. The cop straight up punched her in the face, then peppersprayed her eyes and mouth. Unless she just committed a major crime, there was no need for the way he handled that. He should have taken her down, put his knee in her back and cuffed her just like you said above.

Well I think he was trying to be easy on her, when cops have to take it to the ground people lose teeth, break their jaws, get knocked out, their face gets road rash etc.


(dont get me wrong the situation totally sucks)

He didn't even need to take it that far. Any adult male could have easily outmuscled that girls arms and cuffed her without using real force. She looks like she waieghs less than 100 lbs and is only 15 years old.

Pepperspray isn't bullshit either, that stuff is extremely painful and lasts for over an hour, that was totally unecessary.

If he needed pepperspray to subdue a 15 year old girl, that's embarressing for the cop.

Totally that cop looks like a huge wimp, im about the same size as the cop (weight wise) and I would have overpowered her in seconds.

If anything was uncalled for it was the pepper spray, when I was a sophie in high school I had a resource officer spray some some the side of a building and I bent down by it and it messed me up for 5-10minutes. My face swelled, i cried and it sucked.

the pepper spray was unwarranted. It seems weird to me that the whole time she was caterwauling about how sorry she was and still resisting. I did hear him warn her multiple times. I can't understand why he didn't submit and cuff her straightaway. If you refuse to put your hands behind your back and someone does it for you, it hurts, you tense up, and this girl was too dumb to figure out that she had to cooperate, and it just escalated from there.

What was she doing in the first place?

The pepper spray was oddly used and probably a little much but the chick was resisting for quite a long time. It's not like he didn't warn her 20+ times that she needed to put her hands behind her back.
