I am one of those people who believe that the electorial college exist because the goverment thinks we are to stupid to vote!

Also, I would choose Obama because he does stand a better chance of winning! Whenever people hear Hilliary Clinton's name they have nothing but nasty things to say about her! Plus, the Republicans would use her husbands sex scandal against her even though she was a victim of her husbands infidelity! That just shows you why people have so little respect for politics. Obama is well liked and is not a contoversial figure. I hope he does run!

As ignorant as the electoral college is, it will never be done away with as long as we have elitist politicians. The framers came up with the system because they didnt trust the citizens. If you really research the political system the US has you would see that it is a republic. The only democratic thing about it, is the fact that we vote, but our voting is limited by things like the electoral college. Its kinda funny that we seek to spread to democracy, when we technically arent that democratic...
