Kenny Rogers
So what does everyone think about the kenny Rogers pine tar incident in game 2. I personally think he cheated and should be suspended.

i saw a "picture" of the "suspect" area on his wrist... and there WAS NOTHING THERE!!! was there any actual proof?
but, if there was, then obviously he should be suspended for the rest of the series!!!

Was it pine tar? I saw that game and after the first inning they made him wash his hands. He did nothing wrong.

That old MF'er cheated.
There was footage dug up by ESPN's Dan Patrick of a couple different Tigers games back in July of this season, where he has the same blotch on his palm.
Do you guys know what dirt looks like? It doesn't look like the spot he had on his hand.
In a post-game interview...he said the umpiring crew warned him about him...and told him to handle it accordingly. Rogers said he went into the clubhouse and "took" it off his hand. Now, if it was dirt - wouldn't you wash it off? Why or how could you "take" dirt off? Doesn't add up Kenny. Sorry bud.
Plus, why would he still have a dark mark on his palm AFTER he washed his hands? Dirt wouldn't leave that......but something else would.
Kenny = cheater. Plain and simple.

Can I get a link to that footage from Dan Patrick?
I didn't think it really was pine tar, I thought it was just getting blown out of proportion. I wouldn't put it past the guy, I mean remember how disliked this guy was last year after beating up a camera man twice? So he sounds like the type of guy to do something like this. I haven't looked to much into it because I just figured the media was just going overboard about it, but if what Trey B is saying is correct, then I guess it wouldn't really surprise me, and I think the Cardinals would have to win the WS by default, because if he is using pine tar now, then chances are he has used it in the past as well, so the Tigers shouldn't even be in the WS. Maybe pine tar could explain their sweep in the playoffs?

Ok then he had "dirt" on his hand that looked just like pine tar and wouldnt even wash off after he tried. It was also the same "dirt" in the same spot as was seen in the Oakland series. He definatly cheated.

I saw the game and at the top of the 2nd inning when he was pitching, Joe Buck(announcer) said the umpire along with Tagliabue(MLB commissioner), and both managers discussed it and made him wash his hands. I think the only person who knows what it was is Kenny himself.

He went and washed it and the blotch wasnt even fully off. Its not hard at all to wash dirt off your hand.
