Hehehe, no. Its the one with Scarlet Johansen and Bil Murray sort of flirting but sort of just being lonely. I don't really remember it, it was ok, 7/10 I'd say. Though then again I thought graphic novel 'the watchmen' is overated so...
ah right, i just rememberd a film being called lost in traslation and i thought it was taht one lol,
but i have heard soem good things about this film thouhg, maybe it just wasent your cup of tea
I usually go to IMDB for movie ratings, but I take them with a grain of salt. You can almost gurantee that the more pretentious a movie is, the higher the score will be.
I can't really see why this means Rottentomatoes sucks. All they do is collect all reviews they can find of a movie and then count how many of them were positive. So if you don't agree with their ratings, it just means you don't agree with most movie critics.
lost in translation is the only film i have ever walked out of in the cinema. Gave it over and hour and was about to cut my own throat when we walked out.
my friends who say the film was amazing said i didnt like it cos i didnt wait till the end. However upon asking about what happened at the end they kind of mumble and go err well nothing. the same nothing that happened in the rest of the film. In my personal and probably ill imformed opinion the film was a pile of pretentious poo.
Anyway Rotten tomatoes seems hit and miss to me, i normally go via imdb.
Watch the trailer, check the cast, director and screenplay/writer. Then decide whether to go see it. Don't go by reviews, the reviewers aren't you.
