uh, yeah! i mean, that's like when prohibition ended... so people who wantd a drink, didn't get in trouble! lol... it's not about "hard crime" but about preventing people who want to smoke marijuana from being treated as criminals, therefore reducing prison congestion and ruining people's futures for getting high!

no more than alcohol, and also, people who smoke weed already will drive now while it's illegal, that won't change... it'll be illegal to smoke a weed-cig while driving... i read the full proposition! it'll be the same restrictions as alcohol!!!!!

being legal or not has no bearing as to what people do while using any substance! that has to come with personal responsibility. if it's illegal, i can still get it no problem and drive just as easily i can go buy a bottle of vodka and drive around!!!

well i don't know if most people wouldn't no where to get the weed now, but once they get there hands on it, tons of new people would be smoking the J now= more accidents/

not really, it's so available that it being legalized two states isn't going to create a flood of new users. you can find it anywhere!!!

Actually a study shows that people who smoke marijuana before they drive have a less chance of getting in an accident as a sober driver. Potheads are significantly more cautious while driving than drunks or sobers. I'll find a source if no one believes me. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean if you get blown out of your skull you'll drive better, I'm talking about a little buzz. I speak from experience too. Never in my life have I driven drunk....But I know tons of people who smoke while driving and none of them have ever wrecked from it. I've wrecked twice in the last 5 years and both times I was completely sober.

Plus it is already legal like this in Alaska and they are doing fine. I can't wait till Ohio adopts this...they are already one of the most leniant states around when it comes to pot.

Remember....since the legalization in British Columbia, the pot industry is the 3rd biggest industry in the province. It all helps the economy and I think they would be able to lower taxes eventually because the pot proceeds should more than make up for it.
