Im rereading New Moon by Stephenie Meyer for the 3rd time. I got caught into the whole Twilight series too..
My coworker was talking to me about Wheel of Time, so I'll probably pick that one up next. I'm waiting for the Sam Sheridan book to go on sale at Chapters and I'll get it then.

Nice. I've seen the movie a bunch of times and have wanted to read the book for a while now. Was the end the same as in the movie, basically leaving it up for you to decide whether or not he's killing all the people?

Yeah the guy plays up the cursing and talking about how bad ass everyone he interviews is a bit too much and his style of writing is kind of hard to understand because he makes so many obscure references. Anyway, I would suggest A Fighter's Heart, easily the best fighting book I have ever read.

Actually, I didn't get to read the end because I had to go overseas and return the book to the library. But yeah, from what I can tell, that is how it ends. I had about 10 pages or so to go in the book.

I'm reading The Gift Of Rain. It's about the Malay islands in WW2 and a half Chinese kid that learns Jujutsu from his Japanese sensei. I mean I would probably read it but I doesn't read good.

HeavyRob's post reminded me that it's time to get some Clive Barker books again. Clive Barker was the only man ever to fly under my gaydar b/c I was so amazed by his mind. I loved Books of Blood, the Canyon (I think that's what it's called, I've had it for years and haven't looked at it recently) Everville, etc.
I'm going to reread the Confessions of a Shopaholic book. Yeah, I bought it. I'M SORRY. I got intrigued b/c it talked about current shopping in London, where I haven't been in forever and want to go back and the author and I share a first name. I haven't read the others, though.

The ending is pretty similar but the book is way more extreme in its violence and depravity.

Coldheart Canyon I think is the one you mean. That is good but his best IMO are The Great and Secret Show and Weaveworld.
Clive Barker is gay? you live and and learn.

You hav my sympathy. I spent two years reading John Hume and Descartes and hating pretty much hating it. Occassionally I would throw in some Sartre just to cheer myself up.
