Darwin's Dangerous Idea, by Daniel Dennett. I should have read this book a long time ago. I love it.

Read in last 2 weeks.
Deception Point
Angels and Demons
Da Vinci Code
Digital Fortress
All freaking amazing. So intelligently written. So enthralling. Moreish, even.

I'm bouncing between The Wheel of Time series, I just started the first book, and finishing The Girl Who Played with Fire.
I can't seem to get into the WoT, I really want to, I need another series since I finished The Dark Tower, but I'm just having trouble.
Btw. Anyone who has read Wot, is it one continuous story? Or is it several books based around the same people and each is a new conflict/story?

WoT is a good story gone bad- the author involves way WAY too many plotlines that as of yet have gone nowhere. The core story is actually very good but you have to sift through so many other things it gets distracting. It's good enough to read but just be warned.
I'd suggest for a new series The Malazan book of the Fallen by Steven Erickson- utterly fantastic with an amazingly deep and multi-layered story. Plus as a bonus the series is fully written so you can get to the end.
Other than that- READ A song of Fire and Ice by GRR Martin- starting with a Game of Thrones- it's not finished but it is amazing series.

Still not done with Darwin's Dangerous Idea. I have a few other books that I need to read before they're due back next week, but if I only get to Russell's The Problems of Philosophy, I'll be happy.

Been picking up some older Stephen King books and re-reading them.
One hilarious book I'm just finishing is: 'A**holes Finish First', by Tucker Max. It's the follow up to 'I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell'.
It's over the top, but quite amusing.

Thanks, I've heard quite a bit about the game of thrones. I'll check it out, I've completely dropped WoT unfortunately, I did some reading online and it seemed to be kind of a consensus online that the author just wanted to prey on completion junkies.

Hitch-22, Christopher Hitchens' autobiography. I wish I could give it three thumbs up.
