I actually watched this awhile back in the dollar theaters. Although the first part is quite boring. If you can make it through that the rest was pretty funny. Simple message to the movie and some solid acting. I actually watched it again recently on HBO a month or so back.

Yeah i rented that awhile back. With a cast full of pretty funny guys it does kind of underwhelm. Like you said a few really funny parts, but alot of crap.
I watched Miracle at ST. Anna. It's the story of 4 black soldiers who were stuck in a Tuscon village during WW2. It just kind of shows the hardships they had to go through being black soldiers fighting for a country which didn't even want them.
It was directed by spike lee so i decided to give it a shot. It had alot of parts that could have really been taken out to shorten the movie and wouldn't have really hurt the movie. It's no saving private ryan by any means, but it was decent. Parts of it were deff overdone though. I say if you enjoy watching war time movies or movies with a bit of history then rent it. If not then you should prob skip it, it might bore you.
