Here is a tour of my home made gym, it's small and humble and you see how i hung my heavy bag and the rest of the crap in my garage.

At the very least your bag has been taped up. That says that you've been beating the shit outta it nonstop.

I recommend that you put a chain or hang some weights from the bottom of that thing to stop the swing. Nothing is more annoying than a bag swinging out of control in every direct while your trying to practise.

2. I thought it was supposed to swing so you can practice dodgeing punches, bob and weave, side to side

The first day I had it, it split open and sand was coming out. so I had to tape it with masking tape and duct tape.

lol. it goes outside, that room used to be an office for the garage but I made it into a gym. I was going to make it a recording studio with sound proof insulation. Once I move out, my stepdad is going to turn the whole garage into a game room.

you should sort out all the useuall junk in that other room and then use that room as your gym, youd have a lot more room to use the punchbag and it will be better for your training, i hate working out in a cramped out room.

thats not a bad idea useing that zimerframe as a dip machine thing, alsong as it wont fall over whilst your useing it
