I think prostitution should be legalized. And sometime in my next four posts, so will you.

Legalizing prostitution will not only save billions of dollars for the government, it will bring in a very modest revenue due to its taxation. According the census bureau every year because prostitution is illegal in California it cost's tax payers over 100,000,000$ to prevent, prosecute, jail and house the prostitutes. And that is just in one state. Where in Nevada prostitution is legalized and monitered by the government it costs them nothing and gives them millions upon millions of dollars for schools, roads and government programs.

Legalizing prostitution will reduce the spread of STDs. In New Jersey one study found that 60% of prostitutes had HIV, but in Nevada where prostitution is legalized and heavily monitored by the government with monthly blood tests for every prostitute, of which not a single one has tested positive for HIV since 1989. Not that prostitutes constitute a large portion of the spread of STDs anyways, the governments best estimate 3-5% of the total spread. Teenage sex causes over 10 times as much.

Legalizing prostitution will cut back on all violence against prostitutes as well as drug use. Where prostitution is illegal, the hookers work for pimps and drug dealers who constantly abuse them physically and sexually. But even worse, john's constantly do the same and worse. If legalized prostitution will become a safe service with better care for everyone. This will also cut down drug use among prostitutes as they must submit a blood test monthly.

Prostitution is the worlds oldest profession, and it will be around as long as we are. We should make the best of it, not the worst.

Whoa, whoa whoa. Why should anyone let these hoe bags run the streets? I know when I have kids, I don't have to be the one to explain to them that "Oh, these women are lazy! Instead of getting a real job, they just have sex with old, fat, lonely men." Don't even get me started about how high property values will go up whereever a ******* slut store is.

Do you really think prostitution is a safer profession when it is legal? I know the type of people I think use prostitutes (other countries not included) are not the type of people I want roaming in my town. And what about all the disillusioned young girls that will give up going to high school and college, because **** it they have a cooch, why study when you can just let people stick things in you?

Let's not forget that a substantial amount of prostitutes are drug users and legalizing prostitution will just bring in more drugs where they weren't before. I don't know about you guys, but I can do without hoe bags lining up on my street selling their loose pool sized vaginas to low life scumbags. Even though that would be a great environment to raise a kid in....

Prostitution is immoral!! It will destroy the family living standards we have set for the rest of the world. Kids will think having sex is appropriate then next thing you know teen pregnancy and abortions will be way up! And when the Rapture comes, there will be hardly anyone to go up to Heaven!!

On top of that you have to think of the world reprecussions this would have. I mean where else will underaged Eastern European girls be sent, to be sold as sex slaves and "Mail Order Brides"? Where else are these Mafioso's going to make money to not send to the families of these young girls? Who are you to deny them that?!
