I went to it today, got some good seats, it was pretty good. St. Louis did a smart 1st overall pick and Pittsburgh was smart to pick Jordan Staal over Johnathan Toews and Phil Kessel. I though Kessel would be drafted 4th overall but was 5th. Oh well, Kessel will be good on Boston.

Anyone else watch or go to the 2006 NHL draft?

I hated those stupid Everett fans that were there. One guy kept saying 'Everett sucks' and they started to weap like babies haha.

They picked uo this American up of Des Moines called Kyle Okposo. He sounds like an Eric Lindros sort of guy. A big body checking and scoring forward.

I'm glad he's gone as well. I hate those over payed players who start off good and then gradually don't try due to the amount they are earning.

yea i was definatley watchin, but yet again as a habs fan, found myself looking at a draft pick that i have no idea who he is, but now is a good time to have faith in BG(our GM) so i hope he leads up well
