They never show you THAT type of thing on L.A. Ink!!
I wouldn't get a tongue pierce, too high maintenance, and I probably can't pierce anything else b/c of grappling, and I'm not allowed another tattoo. Fail...fortunately there is this thread to provide the awesome in that regard.

do they even do piercings at LA ink? not every shop does. most, but not all. I've seen every episode and I can't recall ever seeing anyone get pierced... |

TBH...it's not really the type of thing I personally would tune in to watch....the Tat's for sure but the raming a needle through someone's belly button might not be considered, what people want to see.....
They have to have that small room in the back that all Tattoo shops have where they do piercings...usually like one chic come's in with 19 of her GF's for moral support.....LOL

i posted that mr cool ice here a couple times i think, but i don't know about him having posted here since he's German. Saw a youtube thing with him on a talk show, subtitled. he's actually a damn tattoo 'artist'... that's scary. gotta feel for anyone who wanders into his shop drunk.
as for piercing... yeah a lot of upper end shops don't bother. it's not a very profitable vertical for good shops (60 bucks for a body peircing vs 180/hour for ink), unless you are a store with a shit load of jewelry to sell. My buddy just brought it back to his shop because a friend of ours needed a new job and he has an empty studio/spot on Saturdays in the store.
