A Nightmare on Elm Street
Anyone seen the trailer for the remake? Looks kind of interesting to me. Here is a link if you want to watch it.

i'm stoked. the jason remake was decent and the halloween remakes were pretty good. i heard they are going for a darker style, less cheesy puns and showmanship from Freddy.
i'm not part of the crowd that hates remakes though, I always try to judge them on their own merits. I'm sure we'll have a few people complaining that hollywood should leave their old favorites alone

Got all excited like until I saw his face...what the ****? Why does he look like Jason naow?! EXPLAIN IT TO ME DW BAHHHH!!!!! Either way, this still does look all bad assery like but if Robert Englund doesn't have a kick ass cameo in it I'm going to be a sad Bread. (Freddy better has the sense of humor too.)

Awesome trailer. I got goosebumps watching it -_-;
I think the new Freddy looks just great, really frightening.
Generally, I am against remakes, but then I end up seeing one and liking it. I just saw the remake of Halloween last night, and I liked it much more than the original. I really liked how Zombie showed me more of who Mike Myres really is. I hope that Michael bay does as well with this remake, and I hope that Megan Fox is not in it.

thankfully, michael bay is not involved with this film (that would make my head explode). It's Samuel Bayer, and it's anyone's guess how this will turn out, most of his directorial career was music videos.

Oh that's great news. I am not a fan of Michael Bay, although I did like the first Transformers movie, but hated the second.
