that is nasty.. running at each other full speed and then jumping into the guy with knees elbows flying all over your head ribs .. thank God i am in austria where they do skiing and stuff.. i wonder how many were badly injured or have died in australian football league in last 10-20 years..

Funny how the interest and pay don't back up what you are saying...anyways. To compare the violence of Rugby to anything is just nonsense...only those that have never seen a rugby game will argue that.

I remember back when I played soccer (futbol) there was a guy for Laferniere (team out of New Orleans) that always used to dive and we sucked pretty badly after our starting keeper tore his ACL. We were losing like 7-0 in a tournament and it was the last game of the tournament and I was a pretty physical center midfielder/stopper (depending on the set we were playing that game). he took a dive like 3 times already and the ref kept calling me for fouls that weren't really fouls because of it...I told him the next time he dove he would regret it...so the next time he dove I kicked him as hard as I could right in the ribs...got a red and almost got cheapshotted by one of his teammates but I dodged and threw that guy down...it was worth it though. My dad and coach both cussed me out for it...all I could do was tell them...I bet he thinks twice about diving next time we play em...sure enough he never dove when I hit em the rest of the season.
