Nostalgia...
Has anyone on here looked back at the good times they've had? Like lets say for example 2, 3, 4 years ago?
Do you ever think that the past was/is a lot better than the present time?
Lets hear it. lol

Last weekend was much better than the present is all I have to say.. Otherwise, I wouldn't turn back time for nothing in the world.

Actually I think the present is the best. I am at a good place in my life right now and am really happy for the first time ina long time. Would I have done things different to make things turn out different? Maybe, but right now is good.

I thought "nostalgia" was some sort of disease of the liver?

Ish
Life is best when its crazy, spontaneous and wild. Now my life has so much stability it's rather boring, but I do sleep a lot better at night and I don't engage in nearly as much risky behavior.

Past for me, is what it was...a good time that contributed to the person that I am today. Was it better/worse? That is an impossible question to answer, because if it is ever bad, and you knew it...you would change it.
Most people live the life they want to live or choose to live (in the free world) and have no one to blame other then themselves if they don't.

I was sort of a horrible person in my teenage years. I did a LOT of dumb shit...a whole lot. But, I don't regret 95% of it. There are a few things I regret but for the most part I would do it all again. It made me who I am today.
Some days I think life was better back then, and some days I don't. I am happy for the most part now...wish I wasn't in as much debt as I am, but I have a badass girlfriend (my dream girl basically), an awesome little boy, great friends, a good job, and another little baby on the way (due on 4/20 yay ). Can't bitch too much I guess.

Congrats WL2FU on your babies, your cute little boy and the one we have yet to meet.
The due date is 4/20? Awesome!!!
I don't regret a thing; as Tiger said, the things I've done made me the person I am today.
I think I've used "Je ne regrette rien" and "Vivere senza rimpianti" as quotes here and there, which mean essentially the same thing.
I do look back on good times I've had from all parts of my life, since it's one of the things that keeps me optimistic.

My favorite year of my life was 2007, thats when everyday was truely a blast. I was only 20 back then and that was about when I learned that when you want something you need to go after it. But I didn't realize was that once you achieve that, you have to repeat the process to get something else - that long hard process. That cycle continues throughout your life if you are truly willing to make something of yourself.
Back then, everyday was a good time. I was surrounded by great people, had a band, began training to become a fighter, drove a nice vehicle, had money, a great girl. Life was good. But after a while it was like "bla! now what do I do?" ya know?
My mind just began to fall apart and I stopped caring about all these things I had. I wanted to have nothing again and work my way up from scratch because I think I like living that life better than being secure for tomorrow. Life was the best for me when I had a simple mind, before I learned the important things about being a man. Now, I have a great job and great things are expected of me by my friends and family. I am meant to be successful now.
I don't wish everyday was a party. I do but I don't. You can't do any type of activity for too long before it takes its toll on you but when you find that perfect balance of the things that make you happy, I think thats when life is the best, and that's what I had back in early 2007.
