The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Appreciation Thread
Some of you are too young to remember this kick ass show which aired on Comedy Central in the 90s. There were some additions in their later seasons that were kind of lame IMO, but still one of my favorite TV shows evar, right up there with MXC and Monsterquest.
Those of you who do remember, feel free to begin the enthusing.

This show is awesome. I laughed my arse off when I was young and didnt most of the jokes. It still cracks me up.

Very funny show with some really bad movies, can be rented (or bought if you're rich) on dvd if missed out.

funniest. movie. ever. Never really got into the show, although i have a bunch of seasons of it on DVD... saw the first movie (this island earth) first.

Weird thing about this is I didn't remember it coming on Comedy Central until this thread. I only saw it when it came on SCi-fi because my cable company didn't offer comedy central...but love the show.

Man that brings back good memories, that used to be my fav show for years. I liked the original guy a little better but the other guy was still good too I guess.
I still say "His bosses didn't like him so they shot him into spaaaace." when someone is talking smack about one of our manager types just to lighten the mood and everyone knows what I'm talking about.

This show brings back some great memories...mainly arguing which way the shape of the one robot's little crown was facing - we could never tell which way that damned thing was going. I also remmeber wanting smart-ass robots of my own to watch movies with. That'd be awesome.
