Friday night is with the Woman's friends:

I'm going as that douchebag Jon Gosselin. I couldn't find an Ed Hardy shirt, so I just bought an Affliction. She'll obviously be Kate.

Saturday Night is out w/ my friends, so I'm in the midst of building a Pedobear costume with a "Free Roman!" sign on my bag [it'll be holding a change of clothes for the Woman for when we stand in line at the bars. Yeah, she has me whipped. Then again, her costume is a hawt schoolgirl, so I'm a happy puppy on my leash. ]

What are you guys / girls going as?

I am probably going to go as my buddy Scrooge.

That might sound lame but in my town, it will be funny to those that know us.

I'll have a spray on tan to look more native (I'm metis but whiter than sour cream) I'll need to rip a hole in the knees of my jeans to emulate his, wear a dark bandana and an Ozzy tee to pull it off.

I will also need to chop of 3 feet of my hair to get it on par with his lol.

We were going to go as Mary Katherine Gallagher and a priest, but the party got cancelled. However the smallest Swplet is going trick-or-treating (as a nerd LMFAO) and staying over at her friend's house, and the older Swplet will probably have her little guy friend over.

This means L&M and I can indulge in a horror film frenzy, or he might take me out OMGWTFBBQ!

If you haven't seen it, and you don't live in the proximity of a high school, I would suggest Paranormal Activity as the scary movie to see.

I grew up on horror films, and am pretty much immune to them. Once every couple of years, I'll see one that doesn't either:
a) put me to sleep; or,
b) make me laugh hysterically.

PA had the potential to creep me out. Unfortunately, I had a bunch of HS idiots sitting around me, texting, answering phones, and ruining any bit of suspense that was building.

So did I. I've been hooked since I saw the Shining, I guess I was about 12 or 13. It was on TV and probably would have been much greater in the theater, but I was still in elementary school at the time.

I've said before that we once considered going as Duke Leto and Jessica, but who the f*ck would know who we were apart from hardcore Dune fans?

One year we went as Clark Kent and Lois Lane, which was cool b/c L&M does look like Clark Kent, with some grays and a couple more poundages lol.
