I feel that this case promotes a better case for capital punishment. Some insane bitch kills her kids and gets a slap on the wrist? I can't see any possibility for rehabilitation or redemption here. I know mental illness is a terrible disease but when something is that sick it should be put down.

Sentence seems lenient in that Australian case. Prob longer than she would have got in Eng though. How is sentencing in Aus?

I suppose it is fairly consistent but there has been huge debate about it recently.
Two Asian guys who murdered one of our most famous surgeons, Dr Victor Chang, were sent away for 20 years and everyone was happy. Now when their parole comes up everyone is demanding they stay in gaol.
Similarly a notorious paedophile was released from gaol but everywhere he has gone the local community has picketed his house and demanded he leave. The government actually rushed through a special law so that they could evict him.
I always thought that the rule of law was one of our most sacred foundations of our society. We always hear how our grandfathers fought wars in defence of our way of life but now we seem to want change things on a whim like a spoiled child.

LIsten, I never support the US but I have been reading a bunch of articles recently about people from England doing horrible things to people. The U.S. has always been looked down upon because of racism, commercialism and violence. It seems to me like the U.K. is just as bad.........not trying to sound all US pride shit, because I hate that, but come on. Stop hating on the U.S. when you get beat downs on people that are of a different decent.

I use to be bullied when I was in high school my teachers and my mom fed be the BS about just act like it doesnt bother you and they will stop or aviod them. They also said we will do something about it and make the kids stop it. As things went on my father said "Do what you need to do." next week i beat the liveing crap out of one of the guys that picking on me. That ended it.

this new age BS isnt helping there needs to be serious consequenses for this shit.

The prob with England is petty crime runs rampant. So it's less likely for someone to set out to kill another. But sometimes they get beaten up bad enough they die. Perhaps there is also a prob with a large amount of Eng people not defending themselves - though there is some good news http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...s-streets.html . Of course the frankly terrifying news is that apparently I get all my news from reading the daily mail
