Well, I must say it was not nice to see it unfold, but at least it will have a happy ending I think?
I keep on wondering how something like this happens. I can only imagine how you must be feeling right now.
Maybe you guys can work on tighter security? Although to me it seems the site already has a lot of security built into it.
What I gathered from all of this is that the normal mods could not do anything about it, as you are a super mod. So basically at that point in time everybody was just looking at how 'Toxic' went on a banning spree.
Being a mod on a debate site made me think a lot about how to prevent such a thing from happening to us. And to me it seems the only way to do it, is to make sure the correct powers are allocated to the correct mods. And to make sure they are up at different times. Like you said, you were sleeping at 4, and at 4am there were only normal mods on here. None of them could override the actions or even ban 'Toxic'.
I am just glad I don't need to see any crazy horse pictures anymore. I still don't have an appetite.
