I have heard complaints about that fight as well in one of the Maynard/Diaz threads. Lots of complaints about the Lawlor/Simpson decision as well.

I agree with the Simpson call. He outpointed Lawlor in rounds two and three.

Although Lawlor was able to punish him pretty brutally in round one I feel as if he let the fight slip away when his cardio began to give out...

That loss was on Lawlor. Simpson fought with a hell of alot of heart there.

The maynard/diaz fight was hard to judge I think i would've ruled in favor of maynard but it was close imo.

The lawlor fight was total garbage, Tom won that fight I didn't even think the 2nd round was close enough to give simpson the nod for it.

See and I see Diaz clearly winning that fight. Gray may have landed bigger shots but Nate landed twice as many punches that Gray did. His lack of power is what I think lost him that fight. Gray missed alot too. I bet on the compustrikes he had to have missed 7/8 of what he threw. He looked like the aggressor but seriously Nate was tagging him alot more.

As for Lawlor I have him winning round 1. But blow for blow and Td for td in the last two... I'd have to give it to Simpson.

I have no problem with Simpson getting the nod, but a lot of people wanted a draw with round 1 being a 10-8 round.

And if that wasn't a 10-8 round then Thiago/Rashad was nowhere near a 10-8 round lol. But I like that Simpson got the decision!

Simpson just got on the "unbelievable heart" list with Rich Franklin and Diego Sanchez.

Going to run in a couple hours. I am not allowed to turn the heat up any more, so I'm going shopping for more hoodies and shirts.
