We use the forum's infraction system to do day to day banning (insult a member you get an infraction for insulting a member, which I believe is 2 points on the table) and if you reach 5 points you're gone for a sort period of time. Gather 10 points, you're gone for even longer, etc etc.

The only time we perma ban is:

1. Spam
2. The staff come together as a team and decide if it's worth it or not to perma ban the member.

It honestly takes a hell of a lot to deserve a perm ban.

As for posters that can be annoying, as Kry said, use the ignore feature (go to that poster's profile, and you will see "ignore user" button) and you won't be able to see his/her posts anymore.

The ignore feature is being implemented. The problem is that when someone quotes them it still shows up. I just find it funny that at least 5-10 other people talk about how big of a tool a certain member is, but nothing will be done just because staff is being "fair"... even though he's been banned at least twice. I love this site and that's why I paid for gold. But there's certain people who are definitely turning me away from it... even with the ignore feature on. Sad it's turning into this.

I just woke up at 12:30 PM. I haven't done that in freaking years, man, and now I have a headache.

We ban someone if they break the rules. Once they serve their ban, there's nothing more we can do except infract/ban again if they break the rules more.

You only get perm banned if you doing something very bad that can't ever be justified/forgiven for. We very rarely do that to paid members, in fact with my time on staff I think I've seen it done only 3 times, with special cases.

It takes a lot for someone who has paid to be here to be banned for good, and if someone who isn't paid here constantly gets banned, then he gets perm banned (Alizio, for example). Or, even ColdCall got perm banned for constant trouble making and issues, starting fights with members and staff alike. He was banned quite a few times before finally getting the perm ban, so it's not impossible that a paid doesn't get perm banned for general trouble causing, but it takes a hell of a lot of it and hell of a lot of complaints/issues to make it happen.
