Not soon. I have friends living in London exactly where they are going on. Luckily their homes are still standing. It's spreading all over the UK now.
The police aren't doing enough. They're understaffed and taking literally hours to arrive on scene. London is literally in pieces right now. I really wouldn't be surprised to see a landmark destroyed soon, like the London Eye or Big Ben.
It started as a peaceful protest. Now ALL point and reason has gone, and the chavvy scum of this country are literally setting it on fire and destroying it.
They need to bring the army in, NOW. It's horrible how this is being done by British people. Shoot these ****ers and bring order back to the country tbh, I could't care less about the irony, these disgusting human beings deserve it. People WILL start dying soon, it's sheer luck no one has yet.

Well we've had similar riots here in Denmark several times, where left wing extremists run rampant destroying everything.
Luckily our police-force has dealt with this kind of thing many times by now, and know how to deal with it.
A wall of amored vehicles split the protesters, you don't move you get run over... After that several walls of amored policemen with shields, mace and clubs and teargas grenades - simple but effective.
We've also got a few amored trucks with waterguns, if the water itself doesn't make a difference you can mix mace into the water and get people moving that way.
Policemen in civil clothes normally go into the demonstration and report back on what's going on and where they are moving.
I believe that people have a right to protest and riot, as long as they are ready to face the consequences, which should be hard and swift.
Sounds like you guys need the army to go in and bring some order to the proceedings over there :/ I really feel for the people living/working in the areas affected.
Weird to think that I was staying in East Croydon less than two weeks ago, guess I was lucky :/

You do realise I'm not looting right? Don't talk to me like I'm at fault because a few scumbags living in the same country as me are doing so. The rioters themselves are a small percentage. The majority think they are vile.
I have nothing but respect for the Japanese with the way they reacted after the Tsunami and Earthquake. That does not make them a perfect country. No country is perfect, i know the faults of my own, of others, and the positives. I acknowledge them regardless of which country it is. Whether it is mine or another.
You on the other hand only see the bad for certain, and the good for others.
I do not deny there are many ways of life in the Eastern world that could improve the Western. But thinking it doesn't go both ways is ignorance.
