Talking about "assault weapons", as the politicians would say, I've been looking around at the AR-15s on the market. I've been reading up on the smith and wesson MP15 sport 5.56nato. Then I found one on a local stores website, went in with cash to buy it and of course it was sold out.. Yea, they stock one at a time. -.-
My current guns are the rock island armory 1911acp, glock 23, sw 357 snubby and I have this short pistol grip mossberg 500.

I use to have a Taurus 24/7 (40) but after I shot a glock I sold my Taurus and got my Glock 17, best thing I have ever done, gun purchasing wise. Plus, ammo will be cheaper. And you know what that means
What's the deal with buying guns? Is it a USA thing? I've never even shot a real gun, much less have one in my house. Plus, a good gun costs like what? At least 500+$? I'd rather go out drinking.

I'm not even sure I've seen a real gun before?
shot Air Rifles and Paintball markers. that's about as near as I got
EDIT: That's a lie, Ive just remembered a farmer buddy of mine gave me a go of one of his rifles a year or 2 ago.
