Inter, it's real easy to take the HDD out of the laptop.
A sata-usb is hard to find and expensive.
A external hard case for 2,5" disks is cheap and serves the purpose just fine.

You just have to take the cover, unscrew a bolt or two and put the disk on the case.

Do what Amd said Inter, far cheaper and easier.

Removing the HDD is so easy, then just dump the HDD into the external case and you're done. Should take about 5 minutes and cost about 5 bucks.

The external case just need to be 2,5" and sata or ide according to the drive to be inserted. The new models have usb 3.0 which is much faster than usb 2 and only cost a few extra bucks.
Hit me up with the model of the laptop and i'll check it out if it contains a ide or sata hdd.
Or extract the hdd and check the connection.
